The Scottish Transgender Alliance aims to improve the lives and experiences of all transgender people living in Scotland through:
- creating training resources
- providing policy development guidance
- promoting full inclusion of transgender equality and rights within wider equality initiatives (especially gender & LGBT initiatives)
- advancing research into transgender people’s experiences
- facilitating transgender people in Scotland to respond to consultation opportunities
- strategically developing the capacity of transgender groups in Scotland
