ROAM Outreach is part of NHS Lothian’s Harm Reduction Team offering a wide range of services for men who have sex with men (MSM) in public sex environments (PSEs) and for men engaged in the sex industry.
ROAM’s work is mainly carried out on foot in PSEs in Edinburgh’s: public toilets, parks, graveyards etc. During these sessions we make direct contact with cruising men and male sex workers and offer advice, distribute information and provide safer sex supplies.
ROAM is also part of the Scottish Netreach Network (SNN) providing outreach sessions on gaydar.co.uk. We also work on other websites with up to date profiles containing the latest information from safety warnings to sexual health messages.
