LGBT Drop-In

Icebreakers and Drop-Ins, LGBT Centre for Health and Wellbeing, 9 Howe St, Edinburgh
Tel: (0131) 523 1100 Email: info@lgbthealth.org.uk
The Monday Drop-in takes place from 5.30-8pm in the Centre's Hub. It is an informal weekly gathering for LGBT people aged 16+, their partners, family and friends. Come along for a cup of tea or coffee and a chat in a friendly, relaxed, welcoming environment.

The drop-in time can be used to browse our library of resources, use the internet, find out about the programme of events happening at the centre or set up a 1-1 appointment with a member of staff for a later date.

There are often other events that run alongside the drop-in, including community safety discussions and art making opportunities. Regular monthly events include;

Police Surgery (1st Monday of the month 6.30-7.30pm), an opportunity to seek advice, raise concerns around safety issues, report incidents, or make any comments on policing in your area to Sgt. Hazel Leslie from Lothian and Borders Police Safer Communities department.

The Listening Group (last Monday of the month 6.30-7.30pm) is a chance to talk about what's going on in your life in a quieter more reflective space.  The group is co-facilitated by a UKCP registered professional counsellor.
