The Gay Outdoor Club is a UK-wide organisation which welcomes lesbian, bisexual, gay and transgender members and their friends. It was established over thirty years ago and has thousands of members in its groups throughout the country.
In Scotland, GOC offers a regular programme of both day walks and weekend trips - some of the latter arranged in conjunction with the Mountaineering group.
In Edinburgh local members meet for gym/swimming on Monday evenings and running on Wednesday evenings.
In Glasgow, there is a Badminton group which meets every Thursday evening.
GOC members in Scotland have also adopted Culra Bothy and take responsibility for the routine upkeep of the bothy. Volunteers are sought to assist with this task on an occasional rota basis.
To find out more about any of the above activities please useĀ GOC's contact page (select Scotland Group from the drop down list). We will endeavour to reply promptly to your message and certainly within a few days.
