"The Edinburgh Trans Women Support Group meets from 7.30-9.30pm on the 1st Saturday of every month. The group aims to provide support for transsexual women but may be useful to transgender women who live life as women full-time or part-time.  Come and see us if you are considering transition or just questioning your gender identity.  We are open to trans women aged 16 or over.

The group provides an opportunity to meet in a casual, relaxed and safe environment.  It provides help and support through general discussions relating to transition issues or life living as a woman. The meetings take place in the Hub at the LGBT Centre for Health and Wellbeing in Edinburgh.

The group also organises social activities, at both LGBT and mainstream venues. This could be visits to bars, restaurants, clubs and other activities suggested by group members. The group welcomes new people to the group meetings or social events.  We are based in Edinburgh but open to trans women wishing to travel to us."
