BearScots is the Scottish bears group. It was founded in the spring of 2000 and now has nearly one hundred members in Scotland and around the world. Monthly bear events are held in Edinburgh and BearScots host the annual 'BearScotFest' extravaganza in October. The group also run regular trips and visits across Scotland and around the UK for members, such as the 'Bears in the Hills' weekend in the spring and the 'BearScots BBQ' in late summer.
