Paradoxical Ink's SNAPSHOTS

Edinburgh's new theatre company - Paradoxical Ink presents: 'SNAPSHOTS' a play about the isolation of struggling with your identity and the empowerment which self-acceptance brings. It does so by focusing on characters that are either transgendered; are dysfluent; or are unemployed - as they face life defining moments.

There is a preview and launch night on at The Argyle Bar on Thursday July 29th at 6pm, onwards, and then two performances at 6pm on both Monday 9th August and Monday 16th August there will be performances in the basement of The Street.

A bit about Paradoxical Ink: Our first few performances (- initially under the name 'Campbell Lauder Presents' during Festival Eradica's run at The Argyle Bar) dealt with issues of being transgendered, having a speech impairment, and also touched upon sexual politics.

Our long-term goal is to put together and perform stage plays that highlight the isolation faced by disenfranchised sections of society, and present them to mixed interest audiences in an engaging, yet challenging manner.

We will gradually expand our repertoire of material and topics to address - initially by targeting specific audiences, then reach outwards to a broader audience - as we grow as a theatre company.
