On the 13th July the Coalition Government launched a consultation on better family migration. The consultation also seeks to ensure that family migrants can better integrate into society. The consultation focuses on stopping abuse, promoting integration and reducing burdens on the taxpayer. The consultation period is due to end on the 6th of October 2011.
