Mike Sutherland, Lecturer in social work, The Robert Gordon University, Aberdeen

Mike is a lecturer in social work a The Robert Gordon University in Aberdeen and also for the Scottish Institute for Residential Child Care for which he runs training courses on a range of areas of interest to RCC workers but mostly around sexuality and young people. Mike has a particular interest in how residential child care workers manage sexual diversity in the workplace both in professional relationships and in working with children and young people. He is currently undertaking an MSc at the University of Strathclyde, his dissertation topic being 'The (in)visibility of LGBT issues in residential child care'
