NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde: Sharing your experiences of cancer

NHS Greater Glasgow & Clyde has asked us to pass on an invitation to contribute to a project which is hoping to collect patients' and carers' experiences of cancer services in the Glasgow area. The health board is keen to engage with as many people from as many different sectors of the community as possible.

An Invite to Share Your Experience with Us

If you have cancer or are caring for someone with cancer we would like to invite you to share your experience of health care with us.

We would like to know:
  • How you were treated and cared for;
  • How the care made you feel;
  • How things could be made better for future patients and carers.

What will I have to share?
You can share anything you would like to, for example how you felt when:
  • Cancer diagnosis was made;
  • Treatment was discussed;
  • Treatment was given to you.

How can you share your experience with us?
You can share your experience with us by choosing to:
  • Write your story;
  • Tell your story to us;
  • Keep a diary.

Why are we interested in your experience?

Your experience will help us to make cancer services  better in the West of Scotland.

What will happen to my experience?
The experiences we collect will be used to show both good and bad practice in cancer services. We will not share your name with anyone.

How to get involved?
If you would like to share your experience to help us improve cancer services please contact us on 0141 201 4810.

Thank you for your time. We hope you will share your story with us.
