Mr. Right

Billed as the number one hom-rom-com of the year, this apparently lightweight romantic comedy actually has a lot more going on beneath the surface than is first apparent.

It's framed through the eyes of a heterosexual woman who makes a mistake in introducing her boyfriend to her gay friends, but the focus is much more on the lives of those friends as they drift in and out of relationships, try to manage careers and families, and gradually learn about themselves.

Not everybody gets a happy ending but there are some touching moments for the romantics among you, and although parts of the film can be formulaic it's witty and well crafted. A good date movie.
