Are you in a Female Single Sex Relationship? Do you have children? We are casting a documentary featuring lesbian couples that have had children within their relationship. We are interested in telling a positive story about the ups and downs of motherhood and society's acceptance of the alternative family unit. We would love to hear from you! Call us: 020 7100 3365. Email: casting@vandaleyesmedia.com VandalEyesMedia are developing a documentary about the relationship between lesbian mothers and their children, and so are looking for lesbian couples with children, who are interested in speaking to us. Having attended an ‘Alternative Families’ seminar given by Ruth Hunt from Stonewall, I think it is important that we find people who are willing to talk about their experiences, to share their knowledge and understanding with the viewing public. Such a programme would offer support and information to people going through the same thing, but also to educate people about the love and stability that these children receive, and in a way, make it more widely accepted and understood.
Our research isn’t limited to couples – if there are single lesbian mothers who have children and would like to talk to us, we would be delighted to hear from them.
We are looking to find families who are initially interested in being a part of the development, and possibly the documentary itself, as soon as possible. We are an independent television company with lots of ideas and an ethos of ‘changing perceptions’, hence the name ‘VandalEyes’.
