Seminar One: Questions on equality
Queen Margaret University, Monday 27th October 2008

This seminar will focus upon issues of (in)equality, discrimination and oppression alongside efforts to tackle these across research policy and practice.

Seminar Two: Place/Space – Global/Local
University of Glasgow, Tuesday 12th May 2009

This seminar will consider the ways in which place and space mediate the lives and relations of the LGBT communities and how generational differences are negotiated spatially.

Seminar Three: Bodies, embodiment and bodily practices
Robert Gordon University, Friday 23rd October 2009

This seminar will explore questions of embodiment, body image and bodily practices. This will include consideration of the formal and informal networks of support and care that exist within LGBT communities.

Seminar Four: Everyday living and the negotiation of sexual and gender difference
Edinburgh University, (date t.b.c.) May 2010

This final seminar will draw together the debate and thinking generated by the previous seminars. It will consider approaches to researching and understanding more subtle and everyday negotiations of sexual and gender difference.
