The seminar series was an initiative of the QMU LGBT and Sexualities Research Group which was established with the support of the Queen Margaret University Multidisciplinary Research Fund.
Each seminar will provide opportunities for both early career and established researchers to engage in debate with a wider multidisciplinary network. Postgraduate students are encouraged to participate and present their work.

The organisers are able to meet the travel and accommodation costs of up to five postgraduates per seminar and will meet the expenses of one overseas postgraduate or early career researcher (up to a limit of £200) per seminar.
Attendees of the first Seminar will be given priority for places at subsequent Seminars.
