The theme for shared experiences in September 2009 is:

Coming out!

In 1974, the Lothian Gay and Lesbian Switchboard took its first phonecall. For 35 years, the Switchboard has been the line of first resort to thousands of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender people who were coming out. On 31st October 2009, the oldest LGBT Switchboard in Scotland will take its last phone call and have its final fling at the Assembly Rooms.

For most of us, coming out isn't a once in a lifetime event but an ongoing experience. Share your story of a time you came out, whether it was thirty-five years ago or last week.
