The Equality Network is a charity governed by a Board of Trustees. The Board meets bi-monthly, providing governance and strategic direction for the organisation.

Community Development Project
This project supports the active participation of local LGBT groups and individuals in civic life and in decision-making structures, to increase engagement in consultation and involvement events at both a national and local level. Everyone IN: the Minority ETHNIC LGBT Project
This project is researching provision for the needs of minority ethnic people who are LGBT. The work is being carried out in partnership with BEMIS (Black and Ethnic Minority Infrastructure in Scotland) and is funded by the Equality and Human Rights Commission. Information Project
The Information project creates and maintains up-to-date information on a range of issues for LGBT individuals and communities, through a variety of means including our websites, this quarterly newsletter, the weekly e-bulletin LGBT News, our annual conference, and consultations with the Network. Policy Project
The Policy project provides advice to the Scottish Government, Scottish Parliament and other national policy bodies, about the policy needs of LGBT people. This advice is based both on the Equality Network's expertise and on consultation with diverse LGBT people across Scotland. The project coordinator is Tim Hopkins. Contact: tim@equality-network.org.
Scottish Transgender Alliance Project
The STA project provides training, good practice guidance and policy development assistance to public services, equality organisations and the LGBT sector to increase transgender inclusion. It also provides transgender groups and individuals with skills development, consultation opportunities and accessible rights information. The project coordinator is James Morton.
